MS Dynamics 365 Business Central Functional Support Consultant
8 - 12 Month Initial Day Rate Contract | Hybrid | Dublin Based Client | Competitive Rate Available
I'm currently recruiting for a BC Functional Support Consultant for a Dublin based client, with a hybrid working arrangement.
My client is partway through a Dynamics 365 Business Central rollout, and needs a practical support consultant to guide users through testing, go-live and early live running, then hand support over to the permanent team.
You'll help users with day-to-day transactions across finance and operations and support testers through scripted scenarios. You'll diagnose and categorise issues, write up genuine defects clearly, and push fixes through with the partner and IT. You'll also keep the issue logs tidy, support the first live postings and reconciliations, and turn repeat questions into quick guides and FAQs.
You'll bring:
  • 3+ years of recent hands-on Business Central support
  • At least one UAT, go-live or hypercare phase under your belt
  • Strong BC finance knowledge (postings, dimensions, posting groups, reconciliation) plus two or more other modules
  • Understanding of permissions, roles and approval workflows
  • Azure DevOps or similar tracking-tool experience
  • Clear, patient communication with users of all abilities
Bonus points for: MB-800, a NAV background, experience in manufacturing or distribution, or exposure to Power BI or Dynamics CRM.
